Marwood’s manufacturing systems use traditional product validation with check fixtures and CMM technology. Weld integrity is qualified through destructive and non-destructive testing methods coupled with attribute and variable reporting techniques. Our commitment to employee involvement, training, advanced product planning and process validation through statistical methods ensures quality.
Twenty-three presses, from 150 ton to 3,500 tons, provide us with the capability to quickly and efficiently manufacture quality parts to our customer’s requirements. Our press capabilities are maximized through planned preventive maintenance and quick die changes plus close teamwork between associates in the stamping and die maintenance sections.
Using the latest technology for robotic MIG welding, spot welding and cold metal transfer welding (CMT), stamped parts are assembled into finished products. By performing both stamping and component assembling, we ensure complete quality control that results in products manufactured to the highest standards in the industry.
Prototype and Conceptual Development
